Biomedical Engineering department was established in the year 2006. The department of under graduate degreein engineering to its students. 

Vision

The Biomedical Engineering program at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College will be recognized in the country as the premier catalyst for excellence in Biomedical engineering education, innovation, and entrepreneurship. To produce graduates who are sensitive to the ethical issues pertinent to the biomedical engineering profession.

Mission

•          Producing graduates who can be immediately productive.

•          Training the students for rapidly changing environment.

•          Guiding the students to create and apply knowledge at the interface of life sciences and engineering for the benefit of mankind.

•          Inspiring and working with students to develop and apply engineering methods to confront health science challenges thus serving the Nation & the World in times of crucial scientific breakthroughs.

• Secure University ranks within top 10 position
• Achieve 100% placement for students
• Motivate students to take higher studies in recognized Institutions
• Organize national , International conferences & Special lectures

Initiate the Research activities for getting research grants from various funding agencies

Long term goals: 

• Contribution towards PG program and Research activities
• To Establish an R & D Centre focusing on ‘Emerging field of  Biomedical Engineering’
• Promote  interaction and collaboration with industry, Hospitals and reputed foreign universities.
